We have a day!

Our appointment to induce is Tuesday, February 3rd at 4:00...... in the morning! I think I got such an odd time because I kept bugging the nurse that was supposed to make the appointment for me. She wouldn't call me back, so I called a few times.
I imagine that the baby won't be born on the 3rd, though. Speaking to friends that have been induced, it will take quite a long time to get things going, so there is a good chance she'll be born on the 4th.
Galen and I are so excited! We're still trying to figure out what we're going to do during our last weekend - just the two of us.

Here are some pictures of me now. I'm 38 weeks and 2 days pregnant. My ticker at the top of the blog says I have only 13 days left! I can't believe it.
Please excuse my chubby face.
As to when we'll all be meeting the little one, my doctor is looking into inducing some time next week or early the following week. I have to call the doctor's office tomorrow afternoon to see when they can get me into the hospital.
I'll add an update tomorrow.

Pregnancy brain

Yeah, I'm quite the nerd. I didn't include pictures of the nursery in my last post, did I? Well, here they are.
Also, after my last day of work this Friday, my Dr. told me I need to be a couch potato; not bed rest, just off my feet as much as possible. My fluid is a little low and she wants me to limit my activity. So, no more shopping trips, no more cleaning the house, no more kickboxing. And, she's thinking that she wants to induce a week early, February 1st or 2nd. Bad news: I have to stay on my butt for three weeks and take up knitting (again) or origami. Good news: we might get to meet our precious little one a week early.

Ok. Ok. I finally asked Galen to take a few shots of my belly. These were taken right before Christmas. That would have been 33 weeks. Man, I look big.
I'm 35 weeks now and finishing up my last week of school. Hooray!
We've decided to deliver at Little Company of Mary in Torrance. I packed most of my overnight bag this weekend which made me really excited about meeting our little one. Now it feels real.
Supposedly our baby is around 18 inches long and over 5 pounds. She's strong, too. One of her favorite games is to kick me in my ribs as hard as she can. She's good at that game.
